In summer it is always nice to have a picnic with friends to enjoy nature, and what is more rewarding than giving something back to nature. This is the principle behind a double layered eco friendly picnic blanket for outdoor use. The blanket is made of natural, undyed white felt with a perforated lace like pattern. The underside has a lining of natural rubber coated eco certified fabric. After the picnic is finished and your ready to go home just shake off the crumbs from the picnic blanket. By doing this wild flower seeds are spread through the perforated top layer into the environment. The picnic blanket can be refilled with a seed mixture suited for the environment where the next picnic will be. This picnic blanket was part of graduation collection ‘Seeds of wonder’.
